Privacy policy

This is the public version of what DH SUNSHINE GOODS LLC declared to Amazon when registering as a Selling Partner API developer. It is written in plain language on purpose, and it describes what we actually do.

The short version

This website collects nothing about you. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from another company’s servers.

Separately from this website, we handle data from the Amazon Selling Partner API for our own seller account. We do not share it with anyone, we keep it on our own infrastructure, and it is encrypted in transit.

We do not collect or store personal information about buyers. If you buy from us, you buy on Amazon, and your details stay with Amazon.

What this website does

dhsunshinegoods.com is a static informational website. There is no account to create, no cart, no checkout, no comment section and no form that submits anywhere. We do not run server-side logging of visitors beyond whatever standard access logs our hosting provider keeps in order to serve the site.

No cookies

This site sets no cookies. That is also why there is no cookie banner: a banner asking your consent for cookies that do not exist would be asking you to agree to nothing, and would tell you something untrue about the site.

No third-party analytics or trackers

There is no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no Hotjar, no heatmaps, no session recording, no advertising tag and no A/B testing tool on this site.

No third-party requests at all

Every asset this page needs — the stylesheet, the one small script, the icons and the typefaces — is served from this domain. The fonts are self-hosted files in our own repository rather than loaded from a font CDN, because a font request to another company’s server is still a request to another company’s server, and it would carry your IP address there.

The one thing stored in your browser

If you use the light/dark toggle in the header, we save your choice in your browser’s local storage under a single key named theme, so the site does not flip back on the next page. It is not a cookie, it is never sent to us or to anyone else, and we cannot read it. Clearing your browser data removes it. If you never touch the toggle, nothing is stored at all.

Amazon Selling Partner API data

DH SUNSHINE GOODS LLC is registered with Amazon as a private developer of the Selling Partner API. We use it on our own seller account, to run our own business. These are the commitments we made to Amazon, and they are binding on us:

  1. We do not share Amazon information with third parties. None of the Amazon data we receive is passed, sold, licensed or exposed to anyone outside this business. We use no third-party analytics on it, no external logging service, no outside monitoring or error-reporting tool, and no subprocessors. There is no other company in the path.
  2. The data stays on our own infrastructure. Amazon data is stored on infrastructure that we control, and access is limited to the people who run this business.
  3. Everything is encrypted in transit. All transmission of Amazon data is encrypted. This website is served over HTTPS only, and plain HTTP requests are redirected to HTTPS. That is not a nice-to-have here — it is part of what we signed.
  4. We do not collect or store buyers’ personal information. We do not gather, retain or process personal data about the people who buy our products. Purchases happen on Amazon, and buyer information belongs to Amazon and stays there. We work from aggregate and product-level data, not from customer identities.

What we use the API for

  • our own listings and catalogue data
  • our own inventory levels and FBA shipment status
  • our own order and settlement reports
  • pricing and fee data used to decide what is worth buying

Data we receive from outside

We use one external data source: Keepa, a commercial provider of Amazon market data. The relationship runs in one direction only — we receive market data from Keepa, and we do not send them Amazon account data, buyer data or anything else. Keepa is a supplier of information to us, not a recipient of information from us.

If you email us

The address on this site is an ordinary mailbox, so it is worth being exact about it. When you email us, your message and your email address arrive in that mailbox and are read by the person who runs the business. We use what you send only to reply to you. We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not build a profile from it and we do not pass it to anyone else.

Our mailbox is currently hosted by our email provider, which means your message is stored on that provider’s servers in the ordinary way that all email is. That is separate from the Amazon Selling Partner API data described above, which does not go through email and is not stored there.

If you would like us to delete a message you sent us, ask, and we will.

Security

This website is served over HTTPS. Access to our Amazon seller account and to the systems holding Amazon data is restricted to the people running the business and protected by multi-factor authentication.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone. Since the site collects nothing from any visitor, this is a statement of fact rather than a policy.

Your rights

Because this website collects no personal information, there is generally nothing for us to show you, correct or delete. The exception is any email you have sent us: write to dhsunshinegoods@gmail.com and we will tell you what we hold and delete it on request.

If you bought a product from us on Amazon, your order data is held by Amazon, not by us, and Amazon’s own privacy notice governs it.

Changes to this policy

If what we do changes, this page changes with it, and the effective date at the top changes too. In particular, if we ever add anything to this site that does collect data, this policy will say so before that thing goes live.
